The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is asking for the community’s help this holiday season to accommodate the increase in number of enrollees for its annual Adopt-A-Family program. Businesses, families and others can adopt one or more of the 50-plus families who are asking for assistance during these difficult economic times and while some families have been adopted, there are still a number who are waiting to be matched up. Adopt-A-Family wish list items range from toys and clothes to food baskets and school supplies and family sizes vary from small to large.
To adopt a family, contact Amanda Duncan at the Boys & Girls Club at 775-331-5437 ext. 210 or email@example.com.
Donations can also be dropped off at the Donald W. Reynolds facility at 2680 E. Ninth Street in Reno by Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010.
