First All Pro Dad event a success!

The Club has teamed up with All Pro Dad to offer a monthly All Pro Dad’s Day. The first event on Saturday drew about 20 dads and kids. The morning started with a free breakfast at the Club and was followed by a discussion about the importance of having a positive attitude. The program ended with a raffle and a challenge for dads and kids to go 24 hours without complaining.

All Pro Dad has over 1,000 chapters in 46 states and encourages dads to be engaged in the life of their child. This goal goes hand in hand with the Father Involvement initiative of Family PLUS. It offers a point of connection for families to the Club, and more importantly, for fathers to their kids.

The monthly event is open to the public and is best suited for children ages 6-12. Any positive male role model in a child’s life is welcome to come. If you would like more information about All Pro Dad or Family PLUS, please visit the Web page here.
