Boys & Girls Clubs, Think Kindness team up for 100,000 shoes challenge

Step inside a Boys & Girls Club facility in the Truckee Meadows and you might notice a collection bin. It’s all part of a member-led effort to contribute to the Think Kindness 100,000 shoes challenge.

The northern Nevada non-profit is working hard to collect shoes in 30 days (the drive started March 15) throughout the community to send to impoverished parts of the world, to perform “one massive act of kindness.”

So the next time you stop by the Club, don’t forget to bring your new or gently used shoes and drop them off. Let’s help Think Kindness reach its goal, and shoe the world how much Nevada cares!
