Battle of the Brains Day a success!

Hundreds of kids had a blast on Tuesday at the Club during our Battle of the Brains Day – day two of Boys & Girls Club Week. Kids learned about what’s in their food, built robots, did art projects and even showed off their scientific experiments to teach others everything from how Volcanoes work to what brand of popcorn pops best. The highlight of Boys & Girls Club Week comes tonight when our gyms turn into a carnival, complete with games, bounce houses and slides, great food, prizes and more. Hundreds of adult volunteers will be paired with kids, who will take them around the carnival booths, collecting the much-coveted tickets. If you are interested in volunteering tonight from 4:30-7:30 p.m., drop an e-mail to our Volunteer Coordinator Gayle Farley at gfarley@bgctm.wpengine.com.
