Event to include FREE country concert in conjunction with World Series of Team Roping      

The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows hosts a night of great food and music at Cowboys & Crawfish, Saturday, June 22, at the Out of Town Park in Fernley. The inaugural event includes a FREE country concert featuring: Joey Carmon and Kentucky Blue, HomeMade Jam and Against the Grain.

The family friendly event runs from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. in conjunction with the World Series of Team Roping at the Fernley Rodeo Grounds. The event includes a special crawfish eating contest open to contestants. Food concessions include items such as BBQ Chicken, pulled pork, hamburgers, and of course a specialty crawfish plate. Bar service is provided by Pioneer Crossing Casino.

Cowboys & Crawfish is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows in Fernley. The Club operates before and afterschool programming at four school sites in Fernley during the school year and a summer day camp program and Teen Center at the Fernley Intermediate School.
