Our Stories

Our Clubs are filled with amazing stories.

These are our stories of Club members who have overcome incredible obstacles to find success, of parents and caregivers who are thankful that there’s a safe place where kids can go after school, of community members who were able to find assistance at the Club when they couldn’t find a hand anywhere else, and of Club employees and volunteers who always do whatever it takes to help.

The Boys & Girls Club of America Youth of the Year

The Boys & Girls Club of America Youth of the Year scholarship program has honored and celebrated the nation’s most inspiring teens and their incredible journeys. Stories of outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle have made Youth of the Year America’s premier leadership and recognition program for teens. These amazing young people represent the voice and spirit of hope for America. Inspiring all kids to lead. To succeed. To inspire. Youth of the Year is our signature effort to foster a new generation of leaders fully prepared to live and lead in a diverse, global, and integrated world economy.
