No Cost Pre-K Program

At the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, we believe every child deserves a strong start. Through our partnership with the Nevada Department of Education, BGCTM is proud to provide free Pre-K to eligible families whose children are at least 4 years old by August 1, 2026. Under the Nevada Ready! program, we’re proud to provide free Pre-K in a safe, nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. We focus on building foundational skills that prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Eligibility

For the 2026-2027 school year, children must be at least 4 years of age on or before August 1, 2026 and meet one of these criteria: *The family's annual household income is at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); *The family's annual household income is 201-250% or below FPL; *The child has an IEP; *The child has documented behavior or/ social-emotional needs. Children in foster care or English as a second language automatically qualify.
