Learn about physics and aerodynamics, how to fly drones, launch projectiles, and build and launch your very own model rocket.

Strategy, creativity, and fun are what you need for this camp. Members are going to be combining puzzles and patterns to create their very own brand-new board games! Whether a card game, a quiz game, or a head-to-head competition, create a board game that is truly like no other.

This epic camp will get us all ST(R)EAMED up to get outside and explore the great outdoors. Join in as we create our own adventures in nature and gain insight from teachers and wilderness guides about everything the outdoors has to offer.

Partnering with Sierra Junior Tennis Association, campers will participate in a four-day tennis experience that covers a range of activities including games and fundamentals. While participating, campers will learn the core values of respect, teamwork, and accountability. Location: Pickup and Dropoff at Pennington Camp held at Reno HS Tennis Courts

Youth will have the opportunity to participate and learn about popular sports from around the world! From America’s greatest pastime, baseball, to Japan’s national sport sumo wrestling. To end the week, youth will work with our community partner, Aerial Equanimity, to overcome gravity and learn aerial arts!

Members will learn different yoga positions, meditation techniques, journal prompts, and ways to make things to relax at home such as bath bombs! This is the perfect way to destress from the school year and give the members a fresh start for the summer!

Capture the moment. In Photography Camp, members will learn basic skills such as light and shadow, point of interest, depth, focus, aperture, and editing, and put those skills to work as we go out and take fabulous photos in various locations. You’ll also take home some beautiful prints of your work. Want to explore your world through the lens of a camera, make friends, and create memories? Join us in Photography Camp!

A camp tailored for young adventurers eager to explore the world of dinosaurs. From fossil digs to interactive paleontology workshops, children will discover the wonders of prehistoric life. Expert guides will share fascinating insights into the history of dinosaurs, making this camp a thrilling and educational journey into the past.

Express yourself through movement! Our instructor will teach skills ranging from jazz, technique, leaps and turns, hip hop, choreography, and more. Members will work together to create dance routines from the skills they learn throughout the week. Come dance at the Club this summer!

Welcome all space cadets! Get ready to live your dreams and become an astronaut for a week. Members will get to explore space through out-of-this-world activities like investigating asteroids (geodes), learning about constellations, and more!

Do your kids love to swim and play games? If so, Splash Ball Camp is the camp for you! Splash Ball is a beginner-level form of waterpolo. In partnership with Sierra Nevada Water Polo, this camp offers basic swimming, water safety, and water polo skills as well as an understanding of the sport in a recreational format. Splash Ball harnesses all the fun, dynamic aspects of the game in a safe, easy to-learn aquatic experience that will motivate kids to swim and stay fit.

Players will learn and build on their soccer fundamentals, grow their skill sets, and work on techniques through various fun activities! While embarking on all the fun that comes with the game players will also get to learn the history of soccer to the sport’s greatest players including an end-of-the week soccer tournament!

This camp is tailor-made for groups seeking to strengthen their bonds, enhance communication, and achieve success through a series of dynamic and engaging activities. End this camp by using teamwork skills to successfully escape an escape room!

Learn cheers with words and moves, basic stunts, and how to perfect their moves to make a dance! Members of the camp will perform the talent show to showcase the abilities they learned!

Experience the Great Outdoors! Marges Camp exists to intentionally provide all children, regardless of financial means, with a shared, fun, rewarding, and safe summer camping experience, through diverse activities and programs that embody the Boys and Girls Club’s Core Values and Key Elements. Marges Camp is committed to ensuring that every camper leaves with a greater sense of self-esteem and self-confidence; and with impactful relationships that will last for a lifetime. Marges Camp offers a complete outdoor adventure and plenty of fun. Activities include swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, climbing activities, nature walks and stargazing, outdoor education, art activities, including tye-dye and snow globes.

Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming! This 2-week long Swim Camp will focus on a multi-faceted offering of learning to swim, recreational aquatic activities, organized swim training, health, wellness, and goal-setting! Learn to be a better swimmer and have tons of fun in the pool!

Ages: 8-12 | Fee: $150 (fee includes both Swim Camp Week 1 & Week 2)

​Learn full-swing, pitching, chipping, and putting basics! The camp is activity-based with lots of games and will provide students with the opportunity to learn a game they can play their entire lives. First Tee of Northern Nevada Golf Camp will be taught by LPGA and PGA professionals.

Let’s make MORE stuff! Art Explorers 2 will bring a NEW batch of fun, hands-on art projects. Let’s get creative, continue to explore various artistic mediums, and take home fun and unique works of art. Leap into the future with our Robotics Camp! In this camp, you will master LEGO engineering techniques and learn how to program LEGO robots to solve complex issues.

Calling all Junior Chefs! In this camp, youth will learn the basics of cooking skills and kitchen safety by creating healthy snacks all while developing their healthy habits! Junior Chefs will end the week by competing and working as a team to create a healthy dish to present to a panel of club judges!

Learn How to send and receive secret messages, identify fingerprints, crack secret codes, and use optical illusions to create strange perceptions! Each day will focus on developing a new secret agent skill as you solve daily puzzles with fellow campers. Members will create their own invisible ink, write secret message codes, use mirrors to peek around corners, and navigate an obstacle course to reach the final objective!

3-2-1 Blast Off! Get ready to live your dreams by becoming an astronaut for a whole week! Members can learn and explore out of this world and create their own planet! We have compiled activities focusing on outer space that engage different skill sets and are designed to encourage creativity and love for space. This also includes a field trip to the Planetarium!

Join in as we create adventures in nature and gain insight from our wilderness guides! We will explore excellent hiking trails and beautiful swimming destinations around Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and the Truckee Meadows. Don't miss our final adventure as we end the week with a white-water rafting trip along the American River!

Members who attend this week-long camp will get to explore the University of Nevada, Reno campus and learn all about the different opportunities and possibilities the campus has to offer. Club members will get to explore the Nevada Football Stadium, Engineering Labs, The Keck Museum, art museums, and much more.

Calling all racecar fanatics! This Need For Speed Camp will offer campers the thrill of a lifetime! In this week-long camp, kids will learn about the importance of NASCAR pit crews and how they help the drivers during the races. They will also design two of their very own pinewood derby cars to be raced against each other on the final day, and get the chance to race with actual go-karts! Ready, Set, GO!

Lights! Camera! Action! Do you like movies? Would you like to create your own? Filmmakers is the camp for you. In this camp, members will work together to create their own original movie(s), from concept to storyboarding, to filming to editing. Join us as we express our creativity, learn new skills, make friends, and have a whole lot of fun.

An immersive experience designed to revitalize your mind, body, and spirit. This retreat offers a perfect blend of relaxation and self-discovery, creating a sanctuary for your well-being. There is nothing more refreshing than a restart after a hectic school year.
