In March, we’re shining a spotlight on intentional programming at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows — meaning every activity is planned with a purpose and designed to support youth growth. From academic support to character and leadership development our programs are built to meet kids where they are and help them move forward with confidence.

A key part of this approach is Power Hour, where kids and teens have the opportunity after school to get their homework completed in a quiet place with support from trained, caring Club staff. Learning is also made fun and rewarding through site-wide Spelling Bees that celebrate effort and achievement, as well as health & life skills, and career development. Together, these experiences help youth build strong habits while feeling supported, motivated, and proud of their progress.

Give Back Like Jack Day

During the second week of March, the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows will come together in celebration of Give Back Like Jack Day (March 12) a special time when youth and staff honor the legacy of Jack T. Reviglio through meaningful community service. Jack, one of BGCTM’s founders and a lifelong champion for kids, believed deeply in giving back — and this week is all about passing that value on to the next generation.

Across all Club sites, youth will roll up their sleeves to take part in service projects that support our community, learning firsthand how small actions can make a big difference. Many Clubs will choose to serve on March 12 in celebration of Jack’s birthday, turning the day into a powerful reminder that service, leadership, and generosity are values worth celebrating. Through Give Back Like Jack Day, youth don’t just learn about Jack’s legacy — they live it.

Spring Break Registration Opens March 5, 2026

The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows offers full-day Spring Break programming for WCSD students, providing safe, engaging activities and free meals led by our trained staff.

WCSD Spring Break: March 23 – April 3, 2026

Week 1: March 23–27
Week 2: March 30–April 3
Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Cost: $50 per week (with $20 annual BGCTM membership)

Open at all five Clubhouse locations. Breakfast, lunch, and snack included.

Sibling discounts and financial assistance are available. Field trips are offered for an additional fee and are first-come, first-served.

Boys & Girls Club Week- March 30 – April 3

We are excited to celebrate Boys & Girls Club Week— a special week dedicated to recognizing the powerful impact our Club has on youth, families, and the greater community.

Throughout the week, members will participate in themed days, engaging activities, and opportunities to showcase their creativity and Club pride. These activities are designed not only to be fun and memorable, but also to reinforce important values such as teamwork, responsibility, respect, and community involvement. For families, this week is also a celebration of partnership. We are grateful for the trust you place in us each day and proud to work alongside you in supporting your child’s growth and success. Together, we are building strong futures and creating positive experiences that extend far beyond the Club walls.
