Specialty Summer Camps

Are you looking for exciting camps for special interest? Check out the Club’s array of summer specialty camps! These camps run in addition to and in conjunction with the traditional day camp program, so campers can enjoy their specialty camp and then rejoin the day camp program before or after their assigned specialty camp time. Specialty Camp fees include the weekly Day Camp fee of $50. Specialty Camps are only offered at select locations.

WEEK SIX: LEGO ROBOTICS CAMP

Take a leap into the future at Robotics Camp! Campers master LEGO engineering techniques and learn how to program LEGO robots to solve complex issues.

WEEK SIX: NEXT LEVEL BASKETBALL CAMP

Elevate the game at this action-packed camp, where campers focus on fundamentals like ball handling, shooting, and playmaking through engaging drills and challenges. Designed to build confidence and strengthen skills, this camp provides a dynamic environment for members to learn, compete, and grow as basketball players.

WEEK SIX: GOLF CAMP

Swing into fun at Golf Camp! Whether starting out or looking to improve skills, this camp is perfect for young golfers. In partnership with First Tee of Northern Nevada. Campers learn the basics of golf, practice their swing, and play fun games on the course. Members make new friends, improve their game, and enjoy a great time outdoors!

Let’s make stuff at Craft Creators camp! Campers build crafting skills through a variety of creative projects. WEEK SIX: LEAD THROUGH NATURE

LEAD Through Nature offers an outdoor adventure where leadership growth takes center stage. Through hands-on activities, campers build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Surrounded by nature, members develop resilience, integrity, and compassion while tackling challenges like ropes courses and group leadership. Every moment provides an opportunity to grow and connect with like-minded peers.

Welcome to FARMily! This summer, kids 7 to 11 will dive into organic farming-planting, harvesting, and cooking fresh meals. They’ll explore insects, visit a farm and a farm-to-table restaurant, and enjoy music, yoga, and mindfulness. It’s a summer of learning, creativity, and adventure that nurtures body, mind, and spirit!

Don't miss our final adventure as we end the week with a white-water rafting trip along the American River!

WEEK SEVEN: VOLLEYBALL VICTORY SUMMER CAMP

From touring the local Fire Department and meeting City Council members, to using VR headsets to try out different career paths, youth will spend this week exploring different career options and finding their path towards the future.

WEEK EIGHT: NEED 4 SPEED CAMP

Calling all racecar fanatics! This Need 4 Speed Camp will offer campers the thrill of a lifetime! In this week-long camp, kids will learn about the importance of NASCAR pit crews and how they help the drivers during the races. They will also design two of their very own pinewood derby cars to be raced against each other on the final day, and get the chance to race with actual go-karts! Ready, Set, GO!

(Double day on Thursday, no camp on Friday.)

WEEK EIGHT: GAME ON! ESPORTS & REC CAMP

Get ready for an action-packed week at Game On! eSports & Rec Camp! This camp is all about having fun while improving gaming skills, playing awesome sports, and building healthy habits. Campers compete in exciting eSports tournaments, play fun sports like soccer and basketball, and take on thrilling challenges like rock climbing!

WEEK EIGHT: PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP

Capture the moment. In Photography Camp, members will learn basic skills such as light and shadow, point of interest, depth, focus, aperture, and editing, and put those skills to work as we go out and take fabulous photos in various locations. You’ll also take home some beautiful prints of your work. Want to explore your world through the lens of a camera, make friends, and create memories? Join us in Photography Camp!

WEEK EIGHT: SECRET SPY CAMP

Learn how to send and receive secret messages, identify fingerprints, crack secret codes, and use optical illusions to create strange perceptions! Each day will focus on developing a new secret agent skill as you solve daily puzzles with fellow campers. Members will create their own invisible ink, write secret message codes, use mirrors to peek around corners, and navigate an obstacle course to reach the final objective!
