Fueling Futures with the BGCTM Food Truck
The BGCTM Workforce Readiness Food Truck is more than just a mobile kitchen—it’s a rolling classroom for job training and leadership development. Operated by the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, the food truck gives teens hands-on experience in cooking, customer service, and business operations.
We’re serving up homemade pizza, fresh-baked cookies, and refreshing watermelon lemonade at local community events like Food Truck Fridays in Reno. Every item on the menu helps support our programs—and every shift helps youth build confidence, job readiness, and life skills.
The BGCTM food truck is available for private bookings including birthday parties, corporate events, and school functions. All proceeds directly benefit the Club’s programs, making every bite part of something bigger.
We believe in providing opportunities where kids and teens can grow, lead, and succeed—and the food truck is just one of the many ways we bring that mission to life.
